X-Factor 5 je peta sezona wonderlandskog X-Factora. Sudjelovalo je 24 kandidata. Titulu najbolje odnijela je Alexandra Burke, dok je drugo mjesto osvojio Shy'm. Natjecatelji su podijeljeni u četiri kategorije: muškarci, žene, iznad 28 i grupe. Show su vodili Maria Serneholt i Mans Zelmerlow. U prvom eliminacijskom krugu, žiri i publika su odlučivali o sudbini natjecatelja u omjeru 75% televoting 25% žiri. U ostalim eliminacijskim krugovima, postojala su dva kruga. Kandidati koji su osvojili najviše glasova su se direktno kvalificirali u idući krug te nisu morali ići u drugi krug koji je činio žiri. U drugom krugu, žiri glasuje ocjenama od 1 do 10 te tako spašava dva kandidata (izuzev u polufinalu gdje spašava jednog kandidata). U finalu žiri i publika glasuju u omjeru 50:50. U grand finalu, omjer glasova je 75% televoting 25% žiri.

Žiri su činili Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Nicole Scherzinger i Usher.
